TEACHING

Teaching has always been an important part of my musical life. Alongside performing, I enjoy helping students discover their own musical voice and develop the confidence to express it.

I teach students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners taking their first lesson to advanced cellists preparing for auditions, conservatoire entry, or performances.

Every student learns differently, so I don't follow a rigid teaching method. Instead, I adapt each lesson to the individual, focusing on what will help them make the most progress while enjoying the process.

One of the most common challenges students face isn't a lack of ability—it's knowing how to practise effectively. During lessons, I aim to give students clear strategies that they can apply at home, helping them become more confident and independent musicians.

Whether your goal is to pass an exam, prepare for an audition, perform with confidence, or simply enjoy playing the cello, lessons are designed around your personal goals and interests.

Above all, I want my students to leave each lesson feeling motivated, inspired, and excited to pick up the cello again.
